God’s promises are true, God’s promises are sure In the evil day, they help us to endure Speaking them in faith causes them to come alive Hope that was deferred, God’s Spirit can revive
Hidden in the Word these precious promises are found A map that when followed, leads to treasure so profound Written in a dimension outside the space of time Its message is for all who claim it’s promises sublime
Faith is the key that unlocks the Word of God These promises were written by holy men, yet flawed Inspired by God’s Spirit, its message always true Our self-will and choices God omnisciently foreknew
These deep and precious promises are for anyone Who will strive to live them until the victory is won? Hope and faith will activate each prayer as it ascends Patience is rewarded when the answer then descends

2 Peter 1:19-21 – “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
Luke 18:7-8 – “And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
