We won’t go back to what it was, a new day has begun The gospel going forward, our nation back as one The sound of liberty ringing out, across the planet earth Equality and justice won in this new rebirth This light to many nations has driven out the night Exposing the enemy’s plans became a costly fight Establishing truth and justice based on God’s true Word Enjoying now the plunder that the war conferred Rebuild the ancient ruins, restore the hope of ages Future generations will look back at history’s pages Rejoicing at this time of restoration by God’s hand Liberty and freedom ringing out across our land Debbie Furey September 1, 2020 Isaiah 61:4 – “They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.” Psalm 50, 97, 140 Nothing that is truly valuable is attained without great cost. Not only did the founders of our great nation pay dearly for our freedom, so too have the generations since paid a high price to keep it. Our nation was great because it was founded on the Word of God. When our nation’s enemies removed that foundation in school and government, God’s blessings were also removed from our land. We are in a great struggle now to recapture our land from the enemy’s plans, but I know we are going to win whatever the cost. God’s people are rising up and praying, answering his call.
