Make the Lord your chief delight, and also your best friend He is the only constant from beginning to your end Many Christians try to put others in that main role Then become disappointed deep in their searching soul How can others take the place of a God who’s always there? One that you can contact with a song or with a prayer He made us to have fellowship with Him on this good earth Supplying all our needs stretching back to our first birth Who is like our God among all the false ones that appear? A shelter from the storms of life, He is always near He searches until we find Him then He never lets us go Forgiveness, grace, and mercy He is willing to bestow What kind of love is this that God should die to take our place?
