Lord: Do not love the world or the things you possess Live in humility and not to impress Then you will walk in My glory and My grace Don’t seek My power, but seek My face
I love all the same, don’t ask Me to pick sides Are you for Me? In whom do you confide? My secrets are with those who draw close to Me Come into My Presence with expectancy
Love each other well for this is My command Learn the fear of the Lord, so you’ll understand Put your trust in Me with all of your heart For those who draw close My power I’ll impart

1 John 2:15 – “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.”
Amos 3:7 – “Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.”
