The mysterious ways of the Lord are not our ways It is by following them, that one will prolong their days When you trust in the Lord and let Him always lead The plans that God gives to you will always succeed
Do you want to win favor and a virtuous name? Do everything for God’s glory and His matchless fame Always acknowledge Him and He will direct your path Wisdom will then guide you along life’s rocky footpath
Those who leave straight roads to walk in dark ways Will eternally regret it for all of their Sonless days Those selfish routes lead to death and is the path of the lost None who go that way will return–count the cost
The mysterious ways of the Lord are not our ways Great rewards wait for those who determine to obey There are things more valuable than silver or than gold That would be the approval of God when His face we behold
