Secrets buried long ago hidden in a cave Flickering torches lighting the contents of the grave Temple treasures hidden there beyond the reach of men Until the time to be revealed and put to use again Angels stationed by its entrance hiding it from view Messages written down to provide the future with a clue “Now it’s in the hands of God,” they were heard to say They sealed the contents of the cave and then knelt down to pray Many moons will pass over the entrance to this cave Until its contents are revealed and resurrected from its grave Once again, the Temple will stand upon the hill The words of the prophets are about to be fulfilled Debbie Furey June 20, 2020 Isaiah 2:1-3 – “This is what Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: 2 In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s Temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 3 Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the Temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Ezekiel 37:24-28, 43:1-12 As I asked what the Lord had on His heart this morning, faint thoughts of men with torches hiding things in caves came into my mind. It seemed these items were not only hidden by the caves; they were hidden by the prayers that were being prayed. I sensed they were treasures from the Temple put there for safekeeping. One day they will be revealed again at just the right time in God’s plan. Even though the Roman General Titus carried off the main Temple treasures to Rome in 70 AD, there are thought to be more Temple treasures buried and hidden until the future rebuilding of the last Temple.
