The Words of Life are contained in a book Open its pages, if you dare-take a look Already written are God’s plans for your life If you follow Him closely, you can avoid much strife Jesus is the way, His directions are on each page Its truths never changing, from age to age Words of Life that can be collected, read, and stored Are contained in a book and called the Spirit’s sword Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power In the day of battle, He will be your high tower Nothing can touch you, but that He is aware You are His workmanship, a treasure so rare Debbie Furey August 24, 2019 Psalm 139:16-18 – “…. all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you.” Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Psalm 139:1-18 Jeremiah 29:11-14 Titus 2 Ephesians 6:10-20 It is in following God’s Word, the Bible, that we can be sure we are fulfilling the destiny God has for each of us. Psalm 139:16 says that the number of our days and our accomplishments were written beforehand in heaven before one of them came to be. What an awesome thought that God knows the way we will take.
