Sin deceives and will lead you astray Causing you to leave the path called, “The way” That other trail is dark and you will get lost Was disobedience worth it? Count the cost
Defilement happens when your sin is enjoyed Dark spirits rejoice to see you destroyed The pit that you fell in was planned all along To capture the believing, whose faith is strong
Everything inside you will start to feel dead The morning sun rising will fill you with dread Another day of unrest and emptiness of soul Will you ever feel satisfied or ever feel whole?
I oppose the proud but give grace to the humble Sending My angels to help you when you stumble Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you I’ll save you from sin and your penalty undo

James 1:12-15 – “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. 13 When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”
James 4:7-10 – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
