Thankful, so thankful, of all that You’ve given Blessings on earth, a foretaste of heaven Greater than these, is Your Presence with me I know it by faith, even though I cannot see Inspiring moments, pictures and places Traveling adventures and interesting faces Greater than these, is beyond heaven’s gate Promises revealed, after earth’s long wait Miracles I’ve seen, prophecies fulfilled Battles that were won and enemies killed Greater than these, are the crowns that I earned By standing for truth, even when I was spurned Positions I’ve gained while walking earth’s sod Accolades won here from walking with God Greater than these are rewards laid up for me And hearing, “well done,” spoken by Thee Debbie Furey December 21, 2019 1 Peter 1:8-9 – “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” Hebrews 11 1 Peter 1:3-12
