I am in the Potter’s hands until Christ is formed in me It is a painful process, using much proficiency With the skill of a surgeon, many cuts and strokes are made Making room for many gems and colors to be inlaid
After the Potter’s work is done, He heats the furnace high There the soft clay is transformed into a vessel hard and dry Each work of art is for a purpose only He can know Into each, a piece of His glory, He will then bestow
A vessel formed to show His glory is His main desire For His purpose and His honor, purified by fire I’ll put on grace and love, then add a cloak of humility Dressed in His righteousness until, Christ is seen in me

Ephesians 4:11-13 – “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Romans 8:29 – “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.” Romans 9:21-24 – “Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? 22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— 24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles? Romans 8:28-39 Romans 9:14-26
