You give me songs in the night I play upon my heart Memories flood my soul of the grace You impart You give me so many good things I don’t deserve Oh, for the words to tell of all the wonders I observe I see the works of Your saints done behind closed door Clothed with humility as their lives they outpour The world doesn’t recognize they are heirs of the King These hidden ones shine with the glory that You bring Your mighty men still do great exploits in Your Name Giving You glory to extend Your immense fame Rescuing people from the evil of this hour Displaying great faith as they move with Your power The least known on this earth will in heaven have great fame Because they displayed Your love for the glory of Your Name While they were on earth they walked close by Your side Being led by Your Spirit as in You they abide Debbie Furey January 27, 2022 John 15:4 – “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” John 15 I woke in the middle of the night with such a grateful heart. Memories were coming to me of all the wonderful things the Lord has done in my life. I got out of bed to read God’s Word. Sometimes my day gets too busy to read the Bible so when I wake up and can’t get back to sleep, I enjoy getting caught up in my reading. There are so many examples in scripture of the Lord using ordinary people to do extra ordinary things. That means any of us are qualified to be used of God mightily. However, what this world system considers great things and what God considers great things are two different things.
