But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. Romans 12 We recognize selfish love in other people but we don’t always recognize it in ourselves. God calls us to love like He loves, with an unselfish love. Do we even know what that means? We see so little of it in the world around us. When we start to operate in that kind of love the world will take notice.
