Ashes back to ashes and dust back to dust The departing of loved ones is a reminder to the just Our time on earth might be short, or it may be long Spirits returning to the dimension they belong Earthly treasures can’t be taken to the place we will go The only choice is bliss or never-ending woe Our decision to make, the eventful time we are here Eternal destinies are at stake as eternity draws near Jesus came to die for us, so that we may forever live If we believe this in our hearts, He will abundantly forgive He came to take our place as an offering for sin Defeating hell and grave, a mighty victory to win This salvation is free to all–to accept or perhaps to reject The decision will cost us everything, no matter what we select Will we choose to die here or will we be forever lost?
