Me: Fill me with Your love, Lord, for I am running low Sometimes I feel so far from You on this earth below That’s when I need to stop and listen for Your voice I know You have an answer, I must make a choice
Lord: All you need to do is call upon My Name I can send My Spirit to set your heart aflame On the path of life, you must stay close to Me When you drift away, you’ll go in captivity
This world has two masters, and you must choose which one If your choice is Me, worldly pleasures you must shun The way of the cross is the way I chose If you follow Me, you’ll also wear love’s clothes

Matthew 6:24 – “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
Mark 8:34-38 – “Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.’”
1 John 4:7-12 – “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
