If I knew that You would act, I would surely pray Discouragement sets in often-when there is delay That is when my faith should rise, and in Your Word believe That is what it takes to ask and from Your hand receive
Nothing is too hard for You that I surely know Why does the answer to my prayer seem so slow? Through this time of waiting, I draw close by Your side It is in Your Presence I learn how to abide.
In this time of waiting, let me hear Your voice Just to know You love me makes my heart rejoice I will be obedient to the words I hear As I humbly wait, I sense You drawing near
