Moon Bride

Moon bride, do not hide, though filled with imperfection
Your beauty comes not from your surface, but from His reflection
Wounds from the past have left their mark forming craters deep
Sometimes darkness hides your path as you seem to sleep

Moon bride look past yourself, your beauty is your light
Look to the Son and you will shine, even in darkest night
Seek His presence with your face, mirror all His ways
Then you will shine with glory bright, all your earthly days

“Moon bride, do not hide, you are beautiful to Me
My power resides inside of you to pull tides in the sea
Be sure to turn your face to Me, follow where I go
You are a witness, to the darkness, in the earth below”

Song of Solomon 6:10 (AMP) – “Who is this that looks down like the dawn, fair and beautiful as the full moon, clear and pure as the sun, as majestic as an army with banners?”

2 Corinthians 3:18
1 John 3:2
Song of Solomon 6:1-10

As I was waiting in God’s presence listening for His voice this morning, the word, moon bride, came into my thoughts. I knew right away what it meant. It was a teaching from Jonathan Cahn’s book, “The Book of Mysteries,” on page 169 called, “The Moon Bride.” He writes about the bride in the Song of Solomon being as beautiful as the moon. This is how the Lord sees us, the church, His bride. Moses is an example of this shining reflection happening to those who spend time in God’s Presence in Exodus 34:29-35.
