I Am Watching You

Though you don’t see My eye, I am watching you
You seem to hear no voice when I speak what is true
I give you the freedom to choose your way or Mine
Will you align with the world or desire the divine?

In the fires of affliction, your soul is tried
What manifests is what was hidden inside
I already know, but I want you to see
Let Me guide, be obedient with consistency

When you obey, you will go forth in power
My Spirit in you will direct and empower
Then holiness will be written on your heart’s door
My grace without measure, I will outpour

2 Chronicles 16:9 – “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him……”

Proverbs 15:3 – “The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.”

Jeremiah 24:6-7 – “My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. 7 I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.”

You Deliver Me from Evil

Dark clouds hide Your Presence as You soar across the sky
Coming to our aid, on the wings of wind You fly
Using lightning as an arrow coming from Your bow
Scattering Your enemies on the earth below

From Your holy temple, my cry comes to Your ears
You know of my distress and capture all my tears
You bring me to a spacious place out of danger’s way
Seeing all that happens, You hear me when I pray

Who is God besides the Lord? In You I put my trust
What is man that You take note, made from the earth’s dust?
Your glory sent from heaven fills the entire earth
On this side of time, none can comprehend Your worth

You train my hands for battle, my arms can bend a bow
You deliver me from evil and destroy my foe
Therefore, I will praise You, God among the nations
Worthy are You Lord, of praise from all creation

2 Samuel 22:10-15 – “He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.
11 He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind.
12 He made darkness his canopy around him—the dark rain clouds of the sky.
13 Out of the brightness of his presence bolts of lightning blazed forth.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.
15 He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them.”

Psalm 8:3-4 – “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”

2 Samuel 22
Psalm 104

Faithful Cloud of Witnesses

You honor Me when you honor those from the past
Those ones who overcame, died to self, and were steadfast
Some died in faith, not receiving what they asked for
In reality, they were more than a conqueror

Pick up where they left off and add your prayers to theirs
Of My precious promises, you all are heirs
This faithful cloud of witnesses is cheering you on
To complete what they started till the new age will dawn

Run the race with perseverance and go for the crown
Do everything for Me and not for your own renown
Obedience and love will speed you on your way
This present darkness will end with the dawn of a new day

Hebrews 11:35-40 – “Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted, and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.”

Hebrews 12:1-3 – “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

Hebrews 11, 12

Wear Love’s Clothes

Me:
Fill me with Your love, Lord, for I am running low
Sometimes I feel so far from You on this earth below
That’s when I need to stop and listen for Your voice
I know You have an answer, I must make a choice

Lord:
All you need to do is call upon My Name
I can send My Spirit to set your heart aflame
On the path of life, you must stay close to Me
When you drift away, you’ll go in captivity

This world has two masters, and you must choose which one
If your choice is Me, worldly pleasures you must shun
The way of the cross is the way I chose
If you follow Me, you’ll also wear love’s clothes

Matthew 6:24 – “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

Mark 8:34-38 – “Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.’”

1 John 4:7-12 – “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”

1 John 2

Remember, Remember

Remember the times you cried out to Me
In times of distress and in urgency
I didn’t fail you then and I will not now
Will you come to Me? To whom will you bow?

Do not look to man and put your trust there
They may fail you or create a hidden snare
Vain is the one who thinks they are in control
They think they’re in charge, but don’t know they’re a fool

Remember, remember, and do not forget
Your heart can have peace instead of regret
Put your trust in Me and have faith to the end
The plans that I have you can’t comprehend

Psalm 118:8-9 – “It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans. 9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.”

Psalm 146:2-3 – “I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.”

Psalm 33:16-19 – “No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. 17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, 19 to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.”

Jeremiah 17:5-8 – “This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. 6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Psalm 52, 146

Learn to Love

Me:
Help me to remember that You are always near
When I walk in faith, I can cast out any fear
Along the path of life, I choose to follow You
Its path is strewn with love like the morning grass’s dew

As we meet together in our secret place
You speak to my heart with Your mercy and Your grace
There I get direction for the coming day
You made me for a purpose, Your glory to display

Lord:
I want you to learn to love everyone you meet
Then you will be like Me who sits on the mercy seat
Christ’s blood was shed for all so they can come to Me
If they believe this in their heart, they will be set free

If you choose to love, not expecting anything
Your reward will be great coming from the Most High King
My glory, I will display through your works of love
My everlasting light will break through from up above

Matthew 7:13-14 – “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Isaiah 60:1-3 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

1 John 4:18-21 – “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 We love because he first loved us. 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.”

Highroad of Surrender

Surrender is the key to a closer walk with Me
If you choose to follow, it will not be easy
Leave the path of self, comfort, ease, and fear
Put on faith and trust and you will find Me near

The pathway of surrender is a lonely road
Not many choose the way to wisdom’s high abode
The overcomers walk there following the call
They care not what it costs, they have forsaken all

This path leads to glory and I wait to greet to you there
You will hear, “well done,” as My worthy heir
On the high road of surrender, there is a secret place
You must bend low to enter as you seek My face

Philippians 3:12-14 – “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 – “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”

Revelation 3:21 (NKJV) – “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”

Philippians 3
Revelation 2, 3

Choose Your Destiny

I am against those who pursue evil deeds
In My harvest field, they appear as large weeds
On the day of wrath, they will be gathered and burned
My grace and mercy they have despised and spurned

True judgment starts at the house of the Lord
Can you live in sin and think it will be ignored?
Pursue My high calling-leave the world behind
A glory filled life is what you will find

I will never leave you, but you can leave Me
You have free will to choose your destiny
Remain in Me and true life you will acquire
Those who depart will be thrown in the fire

Those who departed had once lived in Me
Exchanging truth for a lie is apostasy
If you call Me, Lord, and choose not obey
I’ll say, “I never knew you,” on that fateful day

1 Peter 3:10-12 – “For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. 11 They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

1 Peter 4:17 – “For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

John 15:5-6 – “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”

Matthew 7:21-23 – “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons, and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”

On This Earth

Nothing more valuable can be achieved on this earth
Then leading a sinner to Christ in a rebirth
Many are on the road to destruction and death
Bowing to the idols of Baal and Ashtoreth

Many are the demons that this world dances to
The gods of pleasure, wealth and self are the ones they pursue
Monuments they make on this earth will not last
If they knew of their end, they would be aghast

Life on this earth determines your eternal fate
Will you align with God’s Word or let self-will dominate?
Read of God’s love and be drawn to His side
He is coming for a pure and spotless, waiting bride

Many are the troubles that will come on this earth
They can be transformed into rewards of great worth
Miracles and victories only come through great loss
Our example is Jesus who died for us on a cross

John 3:3-6 – “Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’
4 ‘How can someone be born when they are old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!’
5 Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.’”

Matthew 7:13-14 – “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

John 3:1-21
Ecclesiastes 12

Baal - god of material blessing through the sacrificing of children and the shedding of innocent blood. It manifests today as abortion and the mutilating of children’s genders.

Ashtoreth - goddess of sexual immorality and war. Prostitution was a religious ritual practiced in her temple.

These two false gods were usually associated together. See Judges 2:11-13, and 1 Samuel 7:3-4.

Hearts That Are Ablaze

The battle is intensifying for the kingdoms of the earth
The choice is enslavement or releasing liberties rebirth
Their plot almost completed, was ready to be sprung
The gallows they are building are the ones they’ll be hung from

Our Commander leads the way, we must follow close behind
Each must hear His voice to know the place where we are assigned
Not all His forces are ready, some have refused to fight
They are the foolish ones who let their lamps go out at night

“God’s people have been sold for destruction and slaughter”
Is the cry of despair from His sons and His daughters
Our eyes look to the Lord with a repentant, trusting gaze
“Forgive us our sins as we return to You and Your ways”

This is my petition Lord, and my sincere request
That You would fight on our behalf to usher in Your rest
Come and heal our land so we may praise You all our days
Reveal Your glory to the world in hearts that are ablaze

2 Chronicles 7:13-14 - “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Esther 7:3,4,9,10 – “Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if it pleases you, grant me my life—this is my petition. And spare my people—this is my request. 4 For I and my people have been sold to be destroyed, killed and annihilated. If we had merely been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept quiet, because no such distress would justify disturbing the king.”

9 Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs attending the king, said, “A pole reaching to a height of fifty cubits stands by Haman’s house. He had it set up for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king.”
The king said, “Impale him on it!” 10 So they impaled Haman on the pole he had set up for Mordecai. Then the king’s fury subsided.”
