The last day of my life will be the best day for me
I will meet my Savior waiting, as I step into eternity
Shedding earthly bondage, I’ll be clothed in robe of white
Earth’s dark shadows fading in the splendor of His light
I’ll arrive at that magnificent city; its imposing gate opening wide
Loved ones gone on before will be waiting for me inside
That is where I’ll see Jesus, and know as I am fully known
Also, I’ll meet my Father, seated on His glorious throne
I’ll be shown my eternal home, prepared just for me
Filled with treasures won by life’s hard-fought victories
Eternal rest and bliss will accompany me everywhere
Matchless will be His Presence as I dwell with Him there

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NKJV) – “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:6-14
Philippians 1:21-24
On that day, my quest will be over. The destination more glorious than I could have ever hoped for. New words will have to be invented to describe what I am seeing. Death will be swallowed up in victory. (1 Corinthians 15:54)
