My heart can’t contain the praise that I bring
To Almighty God my worship I’ll sing
For You, oh Lord, are exalted forever
From Your love we can never be severed

I sing for joy at the works of Your hand
It is only by Your power in victory I stand
Great are Your works to the children of men
Describing wonders restricted by paper and pen

My eyes have seen the defeat of my foes
Your enemies will perish with untold woes
You scatter all evildoers with a scorching wind
You will expose the plans of those who have sinned

They try to destroy the foundations You laid
Rain down Your justice and make them afraid
The kings of the earth take their stand against You
Conspiring and plotting an evil coup

You are on Your throne and laugh at their plan
Your anger is kindled by unrepentant man
Blessed are those who take refuge in You
With an iron scepter the king’s plots You’ll subdue

Psalm 11:6-7 – “On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. 7 For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.”
