Courage

No longer bound by fear of man I call you to move forward
Rising from your time of prayer and reading from My Word
It is by My Spirit I supply the courage needed
Step out now in faith with a boldness unimpeded

When you follow where I lead, My power I’ll supply
Declare My Word in confidence knowing I’ll reply
Be careful with the words you speak, by them you will eat
From your mouth comes declaration–victory or defeat

Don’t hold back in fear and doubt when you hear Me call
A ship cannot be steered unless it’s moved by rudder small
Exhibit free and fearless confidence in the God you serve
A crown is waiting with your name you will then deserve

Acts 4:13 – “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”

Proverbs 18:21 – “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

James 3:4-5 – “Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. 5 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.”
