It will cost you all, to walk in My glory and power
Who knows that you were born just for this very hour?
Sacrifice has always meant the death of self and flesh
The wheat brought to My barn comes after harvest’s thresh
It’s the wind of My Spirit that separates the wheat
The chaff will be destroyed with all-consuming heat
The Holy Spirit’s fire is meant to purify
His refining fires give us opportunities to die
Will you follow Me no matter where the path may lead?
The way is straight and narrow, disobedience will mislead
Those who carry crosses, and for My sake, die
Those who have obeyed Me, will with Me, arise

Matthew 3:10-12 – “The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
Philippians 3:10-11 – “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”
Matthew 10:38-39 – “Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”
Philippians 3
Isaiah 53:3–4
Thresh-separate the grain wheat from the chaff, as by beating with a stick or flail. Wind is then used to blow the chaff away from the wheat as it is tossed into the air with a winnowing fork. The owner is usually around to prevent stealing.
Chaff-husks of wheat, oats, rye, etc., separated from grain by threshing; worthless stuff, rubbish.
Mislead-cause to go in the wrong way, go astray, lead into wrongdoing.
