Darkness cannot enter a well-lit room 
Though gathering twilight can shroud it in gloom 
Light must be removed before evil can come in 
When you turn from the light, the night will begin 

Turning from the truth, brings darkness to your heart 
Blackness of night comes when My light will depart 
Turning from Me creates a deepening gloom 
You must turn to the light for the day to resume 

You are children of the day and not of the night 
My judgments will come to those who turn from the light 
Night is the effect of the earth turning from the Son
When My light breaks through evil, a new day has begun

John 3:19-21 – “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”

1 Peter 4:17-18 – “For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And, if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

John 8:12 – “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”

John 12:46 – “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.”
