God led them forty years in the desert as a test
Then what was hidden in their hearts, began to manifest
He disciplined and humbled them all along the way
Teaching them His Word, so they would not go astray

“Don’t forget me,” says the Lord, “When you come into the land
Life is more than food and drink you must understand
Every Word I gave you in your desert season
Has eternal value and was given for a reason”

“Your final destination is more than you could hope for
This journey you have gone through has taught you how to conquer
The final test is death to self as you follow Me
That is the only way to procure your victory”
