“What is the Word You have for me today?”
“What would you like to know?” I heard the Lord say
“What is on Your heart?” Was my honest reply
“You would love and trust Me, as I purify”

“Know I seek your good and want for you the best
That your soul would prosper through each and every test
Draw close to Me as I guide you by My eye
Know Me as your Father who is willing to supply”

“Do not make light of the discipline I send
Clothe yourself with love and you will not offend
Set your heart on things above as I lead you there
Live a life that’s worthy to be known as the King’s heir”

Romans 8:14-17 – “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.  And by him we cry, “Abba,  Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”

Isn’t it the desire of every father to have his children look and act like him? When other people see his kids, he would love to hear them say, “They are just like their father.” That is what the Lord desires for us as His children.
