Me:
Draw me close, draw me close, so Your heart I can hear
Tune my soul to perceive Your Words as I draw near
You are always speaking in so many different ways
To all who would listen, Your Words will amaze
Lord:
Will you stop and feed the homeless as you pass by?
Spend time with the widow as the tears fall from her eyes?
Will you be My hands to reach the prisoner in his cell?
Tell them of My love that can save their soul from hell
Do you care enough to spend time with your mother?
Will you treat a stranger as if he were your brother?
What you do for the least of these–you really do for Me
You will be repaid when I return in majesty
I bid you to draw close to hear the beating of My heart
Ask, if you lack, then more love I will impart
Tune your soul to hear as I direct you where to go
Obeying what I say will cause your joy to overflow

Matthew 25:37-40 – “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Matthew 25:31–46
It’s so easy in the busyness of life to think of yourself and all the things you need to do. Spending time listening to the Lord causes us to seek His will. Before Jesus ministered in the day, He spent the night praying to His Father. He said the Father directed Him in everything He did. There were many sick people in Jesus’ day but He only healed those who His Father directed Him to. If we are in tune with the Lord and hear His voice, we will bear much fruit. He goes ahead of us to prepare the way.
