Lord, help me to discern Your truth in these evil days
Deception is loosed to promote Your enemies’ evil ways
Riches, play and ease have lulled Your people to sleep
Under demonic reign, creation suffers and weeps

All of creation groans from its bondage to sin
It waits in expectation for the rise of God’s children
Anchored in hope we pray in accordance with Your will
For the Lord’s redemption, Your plan to fulfill

We cannot imagine what our sufferings will bring
Compared to the glory given by our King
Lord, search our heart as we wait in hope for that day
As we walk in faith along obedience’s way

Romans 8:18-21 – “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.”
