By streams of living water, I sat on yonder bank
Reaching down with eagerness, I took a cup and drank
Refreshment filled my body restoring then my soul
The water by the river’s edge ran both deep and cool
As the water quenched my thirst, I felt both clean and free
The water of God’s Word brought both peace and clarity
To all who are burdened, I bid you come and drink
You can be forgiven, from sins as black as ink
By streams of living water, I choose to abide
To all who are thirsty, you won’t be denied
It is there the Shepherd feeds His flock both night and day
He is there to guide you in His life, His truth and way
