Me:
We see the passage of time in many different ways
Time seems to stand still for most of all our days
Until we see a change, in others looks and shape
From the ravages of aging, we cannot escape

The past is a dimension we cannot visit again
It only exists as a vapor in the minds of men
It’s value only realized after it’s long gone
Youth and beauty fading as our time on earth goes on

Lord:
I am outside of time, and I do not change
My thoughts so far above yours, you would think them strange
Eternity is looming before all men on earth
Each one that is born must experience a rebirth

A flood of blood and water came from My Son’s side
Paying the steep price for a beautiful, holy bride
Together then, forever, they will reign on high
Time no more existing, nevermore to die

John 3:3 – “Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 

John 3:1-21

I heard an old saying a long time ago, it’s author long forgotten in the mist of time:
Only one life twill soon be past
Only what’s done for Christ will last
What manner of life then shall we live? We will spend eternity somewhere, if not with God, then without God. For those who do not accept Jesus Christ’s death on the cross as a payment for their sin, they will be forever separated from God. They will live in eternal torment and regret. For those who choose to believe on His Name and to live their life for Him it will be as if we are reborn into a new life, where one day, we will step into eternity never to age or die again.
