Lord, in the council of the holy ones You are greatly feared
More awesome than the mighty ones, You are most revered
God, of all of the heavenly host, there is none like You
Dwelling outside of eternity, the future You foreknew

By Your power You made the world and all that is therein
Each one has a purpose in creation’s origin
Who is like You, whom heaven and earth cannot contain?
The evidence of Your Presence is not easy to explain

There is a new world coming where You choose to dwell with men
No more tears or death for new Jerusalem’s citizens
He who overcomes will inherit all of this
Never ending joy dwells in this city full of bliss

No more will sun or moon determine day or night
The glory of You, Lord, will fill this city with Your light
The Spirit and the bride say, “Whoever is thirsty, come!”
Those listed in the book of life will receive this welcome
