My hidden ones have been purified seven times by fire
It is by their choice, I have become their main desire
They chose to separate themselves and walk close with Me
Answering the high calling and heaven’s destiny
They have been maligned, looked down on and humbled
In the hardest places, many have even stumbled
During their time on earth, most will not be known
In the halls of heaven their glory will be shown
I will use My hidden ones mightily in this hour
It is through their dying they’ll have resurrection power
In the deepest darkness they’ll shine with My glory
In their books in heaven, we’ll thrill to hear each story

Proverbs 24:16 – “…for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”
Daniel 11: 33–35 – “Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. 34 When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them. 35 Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.”
Daniel 12:3 – “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.”
Psalm 12, 37:18-29
1 Kings 17:1-6, 18:1-4, 19:18
In the time of Elijah in the book of 1 Kings 17, 18 and 19, great persecution of God’s people had broken out. Obadiah had hidden 100 prophets in a cave to feed them and give them water. After Elijah’s victory on Mount Carmel, he ran and hid in fear. He thought he was the only one left that followed the Lord, but the Lord told him that he had 7,000 people in reserve whose knees had not bowed down to Baal. They were the hidden ones that Elijah didn’t know about.
It seems like in the Bible that God always has a remnant that stays faithful to Him. These set apart ones are purified and made ready to serve Him in times of trouble. They are unknown to the world but known to God.
