Psalm 56:8 (NKJV) – “You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?”

Malachi 3:16 – “Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.”

Psalm 139:16-18
Daniel 7:10
Revelation 14:3-5

If you really knew every thought, motive and action you did was recorded for all time, how would you like your biography to read? What main story would you like to tell?
If you knew that Christians were being persecuted for loving Jesus, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
Will you make this the quest of your life-to answer the call?

In Training for Reigning

Jesus held out His hand, inviting me to take
Not seeing what was there, in faith I did partake
Consequentially I did not know, what I had agreed to
“Place your trust in Me,” said the Faithful and the True

“There are things coming that you will not understand
But, remember all things, still come from My hand
They might make you happy or incredibly sad
Maybe the desires of your heart or just terribly bad”

“Everything that happens, I already know about
Place your faith in Me-remove any doubt
All things will work for good if you remain in My love
You are in training for reigning in My ways up above”

“How can you understand forgiveness, unless it happens to you?
Or show grace and mercy-to those who don’t have your view?
If you love Me, obey Me, and keep yourselves pure
It is the blood of the Lamb that will help you endure”

“Only on this earth can you learn to overcome
Be faithful to the end, for some that includes martyrdom
At the end of life’s journey, I will hold out My hand
You will hear, ‘well done,’ and then understand”

Revelation 5:9-10 – “And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

Revelation 12:11 – “They triumphed over him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

Died to this World

Me:
Peace, peace, perfect peace drops within my soul
Not to have to worry is attainable
When you live by faith, you can rest assured
Those who live by faith brings glory to the Lord

Lord:
Trust in what I say, even when you cannot see
Moving in obedience is what pleases Me
I love everyone the same you can rest assured
From the richest man to the lowly prisoner

There is a place of favor, that I pour out on those
Who have given everything and My ways they chose
They have run the race and see Me as their prize
They have died to this world as their sacrifice

Those who overcome, will share My throne with Me
They have proved themselves to be faithful and worthy
You cannot imagine the reward I give to those
Who have died to this world and My ways they chose

Stop and Inquire

I heard the Lord say:

Tell me, what did you learn from the previous day?
Did you hear Me speaking to your heart yesterday?
Each day is a chance to grow in wisdom and in love
You must stop to listen when I speak from above

When you get too busy, you can’t hear My still, small voice
There are great consequences to your every choice
Therefore, that is why you need to stop and inquire
You don’t know the future and what will transpire

Every word I speak has eternity in mind
All things work for your good and are intertwined
If you stop and inquire, I will let you know
My thoughts and intentions and the way you should go

James 4:13-17 – “Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’ 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, ‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.’ 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. 17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”

John 5:19-20 – “Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.”

James 3:13-18

Sing Along

In the hardships of this life, we get to learn love’s song
The tune descends from heaven and bids us, “sing along”
We get to sing it as we wait with a patient sigh
Or when others test our intents, with a kind reply

Do not long to be on stage so others hear us sing
Perform loves humble tune in private–to our worthy King
Do not boast with trumpet blast, “look what I am giving!"
When anger plays its number, learn to be forgiving

There is no melody that can bear, the record of our wrongs
Always learn to hope and trust through the saddest songs
Love does not delight in evil sung to nasty tune
We are a temple of the Lord, not a loud saloon

Love rejoices with the truth in harmonies accord
Strain to hear, “love never fails,” in the sweetest chord
In the hardships of this life, we get to learn love’s song
The tune descends from heaven and bids us, “sing along”

1 Corinthians 13:1-7 – “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

1 Corinthians 13:13 – “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

1 John 4:19 – “We love because he first loved us.”

1 Corinthians 13

Authority to Speak

There is power in the words that you speak
They color the atmosphere hopeful or bleak
Exposing your heart, showing faith or fear
That which is spoken is soon to appear

You will be judged by the words that you say
What’s hid in your heart your mouth will convey
If you want to change, set your eyes on Me
Believe My Words and they will set you free

I only did what I saw My Father do
Then I could obey from heaven’s point of view
You have authority to speak in My Name
Believe in My Word and go do the same

James 3:6 – “The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.”

Numbers 13:30-32 – “Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.’
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, ‘We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.’ 32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, ‘The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.’”

Numbers 14:36-38 – “So the men Moses had sent to explore the land, who returned and made the whole community grumble against him by spreading a bad report about it— 37 these men who were responsible for spreading the bad report about the land were struck down and died of a plague before the LORD. 38 Of the men who went to explore the land, only Joshua, son of Nun and Caleb, son of Jephunneh survived.”

John 5:19 – “Jesus gave them this answer: ‘Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.’”

Numbers 13, 14

Judge Yourself Now

I heard the Lord say:

The heart is as black as a coal seam underground
It obstructs Heaven’s goals and keeps them earthbound
Departing from My ways, it changes desires
Who can understand as it plots and conspires?

The heart has many doors that are locked and secure
You think its contents are concealed and obscure
There’s a way of escape through the mouth or the eyes
That lets others know its contents and lies

The motives of men’s hearts will be revealed on that day
When your thoughts and intents will be on display
If you judge yourself now, ask and I will forgive
Allow My Word to change your future narrative

Everything is uncovered and laid bare in My sight
You will give account of your life in My light
Make every effort to draw closer to Me
To pay for your sins, I died on Calvary

Jeremiah 17:9 – “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”

1 Corinthians 4:5 – “Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.”

Psalm 139: 23-24 – “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Hebrews 4:11-13 – “Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”

Repent and Be Saved

To the wicked person, God says:

Ahead of their time you bring untold souls to their grave
By your actions, sins, and the many lusts that you crave
Because I am silent, you think I don’t see
You aren’t fighting against flesh, you contend against Me

I implore you to stop, repent and be saved
I can break any chain that has you enslaved
A fire goes before Me-My judgment is sure
The torments of hell you won’t be able to endure

Call upon Me for I am mighty to save
My Son paid the price when His life He gave
To those who believe and call upon His Name
I will rescue from hell and its tormenting flame

Psalm 10:2-4 – “In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises. 3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD. 4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.”

Quiet Voice

I open my ears to hear Your quiet voice
You have given me free will to make a choice
Will I listen and choose to obey?
Or will I be stubborn and go my own way?

If by Your grace, You speak through bad circumstance
I have been given mercy and another chance
I must respond, repent, and take heed
Surrender to You and follow Your lead

I will get quiet and wait up upon You
To hear Your still voice fall as morning’s dew
You are not in the earthquake, wind, or the fire
You live in my heart and bid me inquire

1 Kings 19:11-13 – “The LORD said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.’
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him, ‘What are you doing here, Elijah?’”

Obedience is Required

Me:
I’m waiting in Your Presence, Your thoughts to acquire
So many questions as I seek to inquire
I listen for Your voice, but only silence hear
You promised if I seek You, You would draw near

Lord:
I am always with you as I promised I would be
In a time of testing, you cannot often see Me
Listen as I speak through a friend or even foe
Sometimes through strange circumstance, you’ll see the way to go

I’m far from the proud, but I give grace to the humble
Sending forth My angels to protect those who stumble
Make Me your delight and your heart’s desire
A decision of obedience is what I require

You are My friends if you do what I command
You don’t need to know why or to understand
Set your heart to follow Me wherever I may lead
Obedience is required, not an option but a need
