Forever Truth Will Reign

Do not gaze upon the darkness, lest it consumes you within
Its enticement brings strong desire, which can cause you to sin
Strong are the claws that it uses, to snatch souls unaware
It fishes with curiosity as its lure-wisdom calls out, “beware”

Sin opens the door to evil, but repentance will shut the door
“Be sure you do not open it again,” My Spirit earnestly implores
The ear hears with curiosity but with obedience the heart will listen
Those who are overcomers, with a new name I will christen

The one who will gaze intently at My perfect law and obeys
Is the one I will dwell with when night turns to eternal day
Darkness will be swallowed by victory, forever truth will reign
Then you will know that your labor in the Lord, has not been in vain

1 Corinthians 15:54-58 – “When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” 55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

Flames of Fire

God makes the clouds His chariot, riding on wings of wind
His servants, flames of fire, are by His Spirit fashioned
Sent to do His bidding, igniting the whole earth
Pushing back the darkness, declaring God’s true worth

Nations will come to their light and see the brightness of their dawn
As they tell of God’s great glory many will be drawn
I see God’s light inside of them, brightly shining rays
Walking in His truth, proclaiming His great praise

A mighty army covers the earth, marching out to war
As they look to Him, like eagles they will soar
Reclaiming back the earth lost to Satan’s power
They will not retreat in battle or to the enemy cower

Arise and shine for your light has come, in a season dire
Igniting hearts to follow Him, with flames of living fire
Burning brightly, for His glory, never to go out
The outcome of this battle never was in doubt

Download Love

Download love into my heart, so I can share with others
I want to see them as You do–my sisters and my brothers
It’s always been my goal to love, but feelings aren’t always there
Some people make it just so hard to make me want to care

The enemy tries to sow discord, to get my mind infected
Help me to use these circumstances as a place where my love’s perfected
Anger leads to murder, but You want us to die to self
It is in giving that we receive, so much more than wealth

I know this in my mind, but I want it to live in my heart
By being in Your Presence, this grace You do impart
Download Your love into my soul, so there is enough to give away
Then others will know You live in me, by smelling love’s bouquet

2 Corinthians 3:18 – “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 – “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task?”

Spoils of War

Armies marching forward, though they can’t be seen
Angelic forces amassing prayers, just behind the scene
Strategic plans poured over, revealed in Heavenly Light
The Lord of Hosts is ready to prove His power and His might

The spoils of war are souls of men, lost and bound for hell
Orders have been changed so in heaven they can dwell
Deceptions, lies and sins, like a veil over their eyes
Will now be exposed, to the enemy’s great surprise

Enemy forces scatter as the Light drives out the dark
God’s people praying on their knees, with declarations now embark
Praises fill the air as God’s power is exposed
Enemy forces routed as their leaders are deposed

Silent as a star-filled night, comes a quiet release
Liberty and justice drifting down on wings of pure white peace
Intended destiny of our nation is fulfilled as God’s true plan
The gospel is now shared to every woman, child and man

Revelation 5:8 – “…. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.”

Revelation 8:3-5 – “Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.”

Deadwood

My judgment goes forth across your free land
In mercy I’ve restrained My punishing hand
Woe is coming to those who call evil good
A devouring fire will consume this deadwood

Praise Me for what My hand will expose
The evil well hidden-I will disclose
I have heard your prayers and repentant cries
The media will be judged for their unrelenting lies

Watch and see as vermin run and scurry
As I lift rotting wood to see what was buried
They thought what was hidden, no one would find out
There’s no place to hide as they scatter about

It is starting now. You will not have to wait
Keep praying so its full course will not abate
You’ve been given earth’s dominion so rise up and fight
Your prayers send forth angels, in the battle’s dark night

1 Timothy 2:1-4 – “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

Ephesians 6:10-20
2 Thessalonians 3:1-3

Deadwood - branch or tree that is dead; people or things that are no longer productive or useful.

Vermin – small animals that are troublesome or destructive. Fleas, lice, bedbugs, rats, and mice are vermin. One of the definitions is people perceived as despicable, and worthless and causing problems for the rest of society.

Convergence

The aligning of God’s plans converging with the times
Each dancing to a tune–an orchestration so sublime
A convergence on a grand scale beyond the thoughts of men
Eternal fates decided–the likes not seen again

These plans can be delayed when disobedience rules our hearts
When we choose our own way, our guidance then departs
Left then on our own we have a choice to make
Will we choose the cross and all our sins forsake?

God’s plans are moving forward, don’t be left behind
The converging of God’s kingdom to dwell with all mankind
A sifting comes beforehand to separate the tares from wheat
The choice is ours to make–hellfire or mercy seat?

Matthew 3:11-12 – “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Beyond the Mist

I’ll open up your eyes to see beyond the mist
Deep fog obscures realities of things that co-exist
The enemies that it hides also shelter angel forces
Look through eyes of faith to find hidden resources

Your enemies make plans and think that they are hidden
Aligning with dark forces and things that are forbidden
Call for My Son to arise–to dispel the lingering mist
The fire of His Presence will cause the fog to lift

Surely the day is coming when evildoers will be stubble
My army marching forth will turn their plans to rubble
Watch My Son arise with healing in His wings
The righteous will rejoice in the freedom that He brings

Malachi 4:1-3 – “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. 3 Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things,” says the LORD Almighty.”

2 Samuel 5:22-25

As I was waiting to hear the Lord’s voice this morning, I felt that I heard Him say to look out the window. As I did, I saw a beautiful mist covering the land. What is it You want to show me I asked the Lord?

Back to the Future

I dwell outside of time, both the future and the past
Time does not exist for Me; you can’t conceive how vast
Only people live in dimensions, I am outside of those
Nothing can contain Me or hold everything I know

Take My hand and join Me, it will take eternity to discover
We can start right now–so many mysteries to uncover
I’ve promised dreams and visions to be poured out at the end
Even on My servants and to those I call My friends

I’ll take you back to the future where time does not exist
You’ll see what was and will be when you go through the timeless mist
Step forward now in faith, is anything too hard for Me?
The things you will experience are the true reality

I delight to show you more of Me, as you desire My Presence
Your praise and prayers rise up to Me like a fragrant incense
You must travel through the Holy Place to see beyond the veil
In your dreams and in your visions, the air of heaven you’ll inhale

Acts 2:17-18 – “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

Overwhelming Victory

I am sending a powerful wind sweeping the whole earth
Uprooting the great evil that kills children before their birth
Thrones of darkness will topple by the power of My breath
Exposing their great evil and the reigning culture of death

Pick up your stone of faith to hurl at the mighty giants
Their lies will only be stopped by My warrior’s holy defiance
With My praise on your lips, declare their imminent defeat
“You are not invincible,” say to the reigning elite

I declare, “Overwhelming victory,” throughout all the lands
As My army advances by My Spirit’s commands
Know that it is not by sword or spear that I use to save
By the power of My Spirit, they’ll descend to their waiting grave

With My praise on your lips and thanksgiving in your heart
Let your request be made known as the victory starts
A great harvest will come before I return to the earth
As My people begin to declare My glory and great worth

Zechariah 4:6 – So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.”

Psalm 149:6-9 – “May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, 7 to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, 8 to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, 9 to carry out the sentence written against them—this is the glory of all his faithful people. Praise the LORD.”

1 Samuel 17:32-54
Isaiah 28:14-19
Isaiah 29:15-24

A call has gone out to fast and pray for this week. The fate of our nation hangs in the balance. The odds are just as they were for Israel when David battled the giant Goliath. He declared God’s glory as he ran forward to the battle. For David knew that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves, but the battle is the Lord’s and He will give us the overwhelming victory.

The Least of These

Me:
Draw me close, draw me close, so Your heart I can hear
Tune my soul to perceive Your Words as I draw near
You are always speaking in so many different ways
To all who would listen, Your Words will amaze

Lord:
Will you stop and feed the homeless as you pass by?
Spend time with the widow as the tears fall from her eyes?
Will you be My hands to reach the prisoner in his cell?
Tell them of My love that can save their soul from hell

Do you care enough to spend time with your mother?
Will you treat a stranger as if he were your brother?
What you do for the least of these–you really do for Me
You will be repaid when I return in majesty

I bid you to draw close to hear the beating of My heart
Ask, if you lack, then more love I will impart
Tune your soul to hear as I direct you where to go
Obeying what I say will cause your joy to overflow

Matthew 25:37-40 – “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

Matthew 25:31–46

It’s so easy in the busyness of life to think of yourself and all the things you need to do. Spending time listening to the Lord causes us to seek His will. Before Jesus ministered in the day, He spent the night praying to His Father. He said the Father directed Him in everything He did. There were many sick people in Jesus’ day but He only healed those who His Father directed Him to. If we are in tune with the Lord and hear His voice, we will bear much fruit. He goes ahead of us to prepare the way.
