Come and join Me in the long night’s toil
The Spirit will provide the midnight oil
Awake and open wide, your heart’s closed door
“The harvest is ready, please help Me,” I implore
My head is drenched with the dew of the long night
The work will be hard, but My yoke is light
Your spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak
The earth belongs to the humble and the meek
My oil is precious, it will cost you all
It’s provided for those who answer My call
If you hear My voice, sweet fellowship we’ll share
As we burn the midnight oil in the cool night’s air

Song of Solomon 5:2-6 – “I slept but my heart was awake. Listen! My beloved is knocking:
‘Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my flawless one. My head is drenched with dew, my hair with the dampness of the night.’
3 I have taken off my robe—must I put it on again? I have washed my feet—must I soil them again?
4 My beloved thrust his hand through the latch-opening; my heart began to pound for him. 5 I arose to open for my beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with flowing myrrh, on the handles of the bolt. 6 I opened for my beloved, but my beloved had left; he was gone. My heart sank at his departure. I looked for him but did not find him. I called him but he did not answer.”
Revelation 3:19-20 – “Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”
Matthew 25:1-13

Each One a Masterpiece
Each one I have made is beautiful to Me
No two are alike is My plan specifically
Value is determined by how rare an item is
Beauty’s definition can’t be found out by a quiz
The eye of the beholder registers delight
When the object of affection comes into his sight
That is how I see each person I have lovingly made
Because you bear My image, your value is displayed
Like a priceless item each one is a masterpiece
When a coin is lost, its value does not decrease
See each other with My eyes to find the worth there
Each person is so different. Why would you compare?

Luke 15:8-10 – “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Ecclesiastes 3:10-11 – “I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Psalm 139:1-18
The Message of the Cross
The message of the cross is foolishness to those
Who rely on their works but My ways they oppose
The path of suffering is the way I took
You must follow Me with a similar outlook
The flesh dies hard as it demands its own way
Would you choose ease, but in the end be cast away?
Purifying fires release impurities and dross
Sacrificial love is the message of the cross
There is a prize for those who daily die for Me
A crown and a position for all eternity
Victory awaits, is the message of the cross
Resurrection power is for all who suffer loss

1 Corinthians 1:18 – “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
Matthew 10:38-39 – “Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”
Colossians 1:24 – “Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.”
Philippians 3:7-11 – “But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 – “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”
Philippians 3:7-21
Mysteries of Your Future
Look deep into My eyes to see My love for you there
I am always close, but you are not usually aware
My heart yearns for you to stop and speak with Me
I have much to share with you about your destiny
There are many ways to go, but only one I have planned
If you will inquire of Me, you will understand
I am always speaking you must learn the ways to hear
As you stop to look for Me My voice becomes more clear
I walk beside you every day, but you are not aware
As you think about My Word, you will find Me there
I also speak through others, even when they do not know
Hear Me when I whisper as the wind begins to blow
I am the still small thought that speaks inside of you
You must quiet your mind so My Words come into view
You will always find Me when you search with all your heart
Mysteries of your future, I will readily impart

Psalm 46:10 – “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’”
Isaiah 46:9-11 – “Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.”
Deuteronomy 4:29 – “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Matthew 22:37-40 – “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Deuteronomy 11:13-32
Don’t Waste the Time
Don’t waste the time I’ve given you today
The minutes fly by on a path one-way
Never to be captured and used again
Their presence only noted by thoughts or a pen
Time is the gift that all men alike share
Tomorrow is not guaranteed so you must beware
You will give account of how it was used
At My throne you’ll be rewarded or accused
I’ve made everything beautiful in its time
Like a poem, decorated with fancy rhyme
There is a rhythm to all that I do
It follows My heartbeat I’ve placed inside you

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 – “There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11 – “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Proverbs 12:28 – “In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-17
Known as Children of the Day
Evil exists in ways you know not of
It is the absence of holiness and of love
Before time began, it was always there
Freedom of choice comes with a cost, so beware
Love commanded, is not love at all
Obedience proves you have answered the call
You must seek Me with all your heart
That kind of faith will set you apart
In the midst of a world, so dark and cold
Your love, and your faith I treasure as fine gold
When you obey Me because of your love
You’ll be trusted with My power I send from above
In the dark days coming upon the earth
My glory will shine on you proving your worth
Darkness will flee in the light of My glory
As My Presence invades earth’s territory
You will be known as children of the day
You’ll reflect My glory in full display
Nations will come to the rising of your dawn
By My Spirit, many will be drawn

John 14:23-24 – “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.’”
Isaiah 60:1-3 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”

Book of God
It takes much preparation to get a plane to fly
The pilots have a checklist on which they must rely
If they are not careful and skip some things to do
The flight could turn disastrous for passengers and crew
I’ve given you instructions in the Book of God
On them you must rely as you walk along earth’s sod
If you pick and choose the instructions I have given
It could prove disastrous if you’re not forgiven
I’ve made you all connected as you traverse this life
If you believe My Word, it will keep you from much strife
Go back to the manual when you’ve made a wrong turn
Your life could prove disastrous if you do not return
Trust in Me with all your heart so you will understand
My Words are not suggestions, they are a firm command
Blessed is the man who delights in what I say
They are not in darkness, but known as children of the day

Proverbs 2:1-6 – “My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, 2 so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; 3 yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, 4 if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
1 Thessalonians 5:4-5 – “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.”

Escape Hell’s Death-Fire
There will come a time at My judgment seat
When the secrets of men’s hearts are laid bare
With a terrible fear men’s hearts will beat
They’ll see the total of their sins in despair
They had rejected My love and My grace
On the earth in defiance and pride
They’ll be consigned to a horrible place
Where the fire never dies, they’ll reside
It’s not too late to change your destiny
Daily, read My Word and inquire
I came to die for lost humanity
So that you could escape hell’s death-fire

Revelation 20:11-12 – “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”
Isaiah 66:23-24 – “And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the LORD.

John 3:16-17 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

My Morning Rendezvous
When I get too busy, I miss meeting with You
So many times, I’ve shortened my morning rendezvous
Other things seemed more important to my worldly eyes
They did not perfect me, or make me holy and wise
So many things to do-but there is a choice to make
Eternity will prove true the road I choose to take
If I decide to sow my seed into the realm of earth
The harvest I receive will not have eternal worth
I want everything I do to show forth Your glory
All my earthly deeds will then be my offertory
Let them rise, like smoke, to give you praise and pleasure
Then the motives of my heart will be my greatest treasure

Matthew 6:19-21 – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Luke 8:14-15 – “Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”

You Overcame
If you have come to the end of your rope
There is something I want you to know
Don’t believe that there is no hope
Coming from heaven to you below
I speak in ways that are hidden to man
But if you search with all of your heart
You will hear My voice detailing a plan
That My wisdom and grace, hope to impart
I know the end from the beginning
And the way each one chooses to go
Have faith in Me and let your heart sing
So your destiny and purpose, you’ll know
You must choose to believe in Me
And know I have an eternal plan
Shedding My blood for lost humanity
I came to die for every woman and man
So, by faith move forward in My victory-
That is My will and purpose for you
Eternity will record your story
You overcame everything You went through
