My Purposes Fulfilled

What is the worst thing that your enemy could do?
Your foes misconstrue what I try to do through you
They are not afraid to touch the sheep of My flock
Their time is running out as it strikes twelve on My clock

You cannot imagine what the enemy had planned
When I show grace to the wicked, they still don’t understand
My time of mercy ends when My hand is lifted high
Watch as it descends to consume and terrify

Take note when My judgments come upon your land
The people will learn righteousness and then understand
I’ll start with My people, and discipline them in love
If they repent and turn to Me, I’ll send My mercy from above

What is the worst thing that your enemy could do?
I use them for My purposes to show you what is true
All this works for your good-to those who love My Name
My purposes fulfilled in those whose hearts are aflame

Isaiah 26:9–11 – “ My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you.
When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. 10 But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the LORD.
11 LORD, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.”

1 Peter 4:17 – “For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Isaiah 26

Queen Esther’s Appeal

God hears our prayers even in the dark of night
Many hidden enemies wait in ambush for a fight
Who could have anticipated a war breaking out?
Who could have imagined what their plans were all about?

Do not be ignorant about Satan’s plans and schemes
He wants to rob and kill us of all our hopes and dreams
In the shadows waiting, an enemy unforeseen
Just like the book of Esther when they came against the queen

The bride of the king put her life on the line
To expose the enemies plot, with a banquet and fine wine
Her appeal was based on her relationship with the king
Who could have imagined the victory it would bring?

Do not fear the storm when the Lord is on your side
The secret to great peace is, where do you abide?
The trap the enemy set, turned back on them instead
Queen Esther’s brave appeal cost her enemy his head.

Esther 4:16 – “Go, gather all the Jews that are present in Susa, and observe a fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids also will fast in the same way. Then I will go in to [see] the king [without being summoned], which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.” (AMP)

Esther 7:1-2 – “So the king and Haman went to Queen Esther’s banquet, 2 and as they were drinking wine on the second day, the king again asked, “Queen Esther, what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be granted.”
