When I get too busy, I miss meeting with You
So many times, I’ve shortened my morning rendezvous
Other things seemed more important to my worldly eyes
They did not perfect me, or make me holy and wise

So many things to do-but there is a choice to make
Eternity will prove true the road I choose to take
If I decide to sow my seed into the realm of earth
The harvest I receive will not have eternal worth

I want everything I do to show forth Your glory
All my earthly deeds will then be my offertory
Let them rise, like smoke, to give you praise and pleasure
Then the motives of my heart will be my greatest treasure

Matthew 6:6 – “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”

Matthew 6:19-21 – “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Luke 8:14-15 – “Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.”

Matthew 6:1-24
Luke 8:4-15

If you have come to the end of your rope
There is something I want you to know
Don’t believe that there is no hope
Coming from heaven to you below

I speak in ways that are hidden to man
But if you search with all of your heart
You will hear My voice detailing a plan
That My wisdom and grace, hope to impart

I know the end from the beginning
And the way each one chooses to go
Have faith in Me and let your heart sing
So your destiny and purpose, you’ll know

You must choose to believe in Me
And know I have an eternal plan
Shedding My blood for lost humanity
I came to die for every woman and man

So, by faith move forward in My victory-
That is My will and purpose for you
Eternity will record your story
You overcame everything You went through
