Accuser of God’s People

The accuser of God’s people works overtime
Bringing charges against them to cover with hell’s slime
They think they work for Me to uncover and expose
Their lack of love and prayer-less heart shows Me they’re My foes

With eyes of accusation and charges that aren’t true
They search to find fault with words misconstrued
Every church they pass they find words to disrespect
That is not My heart to find fault and then reject

Suspicion and faultfinding are not the Spirit’s fruit
Masquerading as discernment, evil is its root
Those who are accusers become crusaders against Me
Stopping My revivals by their false sanctity

Where there is error go with a motive to restore
Plead with intercession for My love to be outpoured
Then you will be like Me when you seek to help and save
I will use you then to pull people from hell’s grave

Hope’s Song

Me:
The Lord, Almighty God, gives a song in deepest night
To those who are silently crying in the dim moonlight
Sending His angels to collect the tears of those
With a message of comfort and hope that overflows

Lord:
I am the God who sees, and you must know I care
Of the enemies’ traps and ways, you must be aware
To have the power of hope you must sing hope’s song
Continue to believe in the midst of all that’s wrong

When you feel there’s nothing left, look up in faith to Me
All you are learning will matter for eternity
I gave up everything to pay the price for My bride
The fire you are going through will leave you purified

With a song of hope in your heart and faith in your soul
You can do anything when you let My Word control
Declare My Word out loud and put it to the test
I will show My power as in My love you rest

Habakkuk 3:17-19 – “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to tread on the heights.”

New Life Is Begun

There is no resurrection without first a death
Life came into Adam with the release of God’s own breath
We can’t see our spirit but we know that it is there
We can’t see our God but we know He is everywhere

Where does the wind come from and where does the wind go?
What is the meaning of life? Tell me if you know
Jesus is our life, unyielding truth, and the only way
He is the essence of God’s love to us, put on full display

When we search God’s Word great mysteries are revealed
Since time began much truth has been concealed
We are being formed into the image of God’s Son
It is through dying to self that new life is begun

John 3:5-8 – “Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.’”

John 12:23-28 – “Jesus replied, ‘The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.’”

Romans 8:28-30 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”

Our Hearts Must Stay Pure

Trust must be earned but forgiveness is a choice
Our hearts must stay pure for us to hear God’s voice
The accuser of our souls teaches us to hate
He uses unforgiveness as his special bait

Everyone does what is right in their own eyes
All of us sin, from the foolish to the wise
We judge others for the same things that we do
If we don’t forgive them then we are guilty too

God is the righteous judge-let it in His hands
Search in His Word and do what He commands
The Lord is our example of love’s purest form
All that happens to us He is able to transform

Everything that happens to us God can then use
Both the good and the bad teaches us eternal truths
When we learn God’s ways and our evil ways forsake
We will be like Jesus when, in heaven, we awake

Stay Low

In my own eyes I need to stay low
When pride appears and tries an overthrow
If it trips me and I take a fall
Hopefully then, it won’t hurt at all
If I stay low and close to the ground
I will be safe when humility I’ve found

Let Your Understanding Transcend

Me:
Lord, shine Your light into the hidden dark places
That rule in my heart and hide from Your graces
I give You permission to expose what is there
Wrong thoughts and attitudes that reside unaware

Holy Spirit guide me so Your Word comes alive
Causing my spirit to awaken and revive
Once I lived in darkness, but now I have the light
I choose to walk with You and always do what’s right

Lord:
Wake up, O sleeper, and rise from your slumber
Hear My Words speak in the rain and the thunder
Make the most of every opportunity I send
In the good and the bad let your understanding transcend

My ways are not your ways so listen for My voice
That is the only way to make the right choice
When you obey My Word, you come to know My will
Follow Me close so your destiny you’ll fulfill

Romans 13:11-14 – “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.”
Ephesians 5:8-14 – “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”’

Fear the Lord

I’ll never let the fear of the Lord in my heart subside
If I saw God in His glory I would have to hide
Purest love and sinless nature wrapped in robe of light
Sent His Son to die for us in our sinful plight

Solomon in all his wisdom, fell away in sin
It takes more than wisdom to change our hearts within
We must learn we need God’s mercy in our sinful state
To continue in our sin, God will not tolerate

Fear the Lord, you His saints, and you will surely live
All your past transgressions, He will then forgive
To those who choose to love God and follow to the end
He will choose to live with and be known as our dear friend

Psalm 128:1 – “Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him.”

Romans 11:22 NAS – “See then the kindness and severity of God: to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; for otherwise you too will be cut off.”

Hebrews 10:26-31 – “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ and again, ‘The Lord will judge his people.’ 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

Malachi 3:5 – “’So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers, and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,’ says the LORD Almighty.”

Ephesians 5:3-7 – “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.”
Revelation 3:15-16 – “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

John 15:14-15 – “You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

Luke 18:9-14
Malachi 3, 4

Divine Power

Divine power to deliver from the evils of sin
Leads to devotion to the Lord and holy discipline
“If you love Me, you will obey Me,” says the Lord on high
“To find your life in Me, to the world you must die”

“This new life I will bring you can’t even compare,
To the old life you lived, in sin, unaware
Divine power comes down when you surrender your will
Your destiny in life you will now fulfill”

“When you walk in divine power, you must learn to love
That is what counts most in the courts of heaven above
Everything you go through tries to teach you of this
The atmosphere of heaven is filled with love’s bliss”

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 – “Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?”

Romans 6:11-14 – “In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.”

Matthew 10:38-39 – “Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Every Willing Heart

You extend mercy like a river, ever-flowing, free
Your Son’s blood paid the price on a hill at Calvary
There, all my judgments were nailed with Him on a tree
My forgiveness was bought by the One who died for me

Jesus descended into hell, death’s keys to acquire
He who descended is the One who ascended higher
Jesus led captives in His train and gave gifts to men
He wants us to occupy until He returns again

We must live a life worthy of the calling we’ve received
He sends the Holy Spirit to those who have believed
As we walk in holiness and love His power He’ll impart
He gives forgiveness and salvation to every willing heart

Ephesians 4:7-10 – “But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it says: ‘When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men.’
9 (What does ‘he ascended’ mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)”
Isaiah 55:6-7 – “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”

1 Timothy 1:12-16 – “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.”
Ephesians 4, 5
Isaiah 43, 55

No Condemnation

Restore to me the joy of my salvation
Every day I seem to feel much condemnation
There are none righteous, no not even one
Except for those covered by the blood of God’s Son

He who knew no sin became sin for us
Those who believe this are then made righteous
We could not earn this it is a gift from God given
Those who are in Christ are by God forgiven

The law of the Spirit of life has set me free
When I walk in the Spirit, I have victory
Therefore, there is now no condemnation
Those who are in Christ must work out their salvation
