Like a rose that opens to the rays of the sun
God’s promises unfold as His will is being done
This motion can’t be seen by the human eye
In divine delays, don’t fear or ask Him, “Why?”
Wait and rejoice so your faith can grow strong
Though the wait is painful and exceedingly long
His times are not your times, in Him you must rest
God’s hand shapes your soul and will bring out the best
In all you desire, let it be for your soul
Let spiritual riches be your highest goal
Seek not earthly treasures for they will not last
Choose the way God leads, which is unsurpassed
Rejoice in God, for He is truly all you need
You can never ask beyond His power to exceed
Set your heart to be in His Presence every day
He will be to you the truth, life, and the way

Romans 5:3-5 – “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
James 1:2-4 – “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
2 Peter 1:5-9 – “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.”

Judged By Your Actions
I accept your words, but you are judged by your actions
Faith without works does not bring Me satisfaction
What good is a living person without a head?
So then, faith without deeds, I would consider as dead
Without faith, it is impossible to then please Me
Believe what I say, even when you don’t see
Do you genuinely desire to do My will?
I search for your motive and heart to fulfill
Do not try to manipulate Me or try to deceive
Since I know everything will I not perceive?
I know your thoughts before they come to be
Before you go to speak, I know it completely
Such knowledge is too wonderful for you to attain
It is by dying that eternal life you gain
I am familiar with all of your earthly days
This life is a test for you to know all of My ways

James 2:14-17 – “What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
James 2:26 – “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”
Hebrews 11:6 – “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Psalm 139:1-6 – “You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. 5 You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”

Not of the Night
Darkness cannot enter a well-lit room
Though gathering twilight can shroud it in gloom
Light must be removed before evil can come in
When you turn from the light, the night will begin
Turning from the truth, brings darkness to your heart
Blackness of night comes when My light will depart
Turning from Me creates a deepening gloom
You must turn to the light for the day to resume
You are children of the day and not of the night
My judgments will come to those who turn from the light
Night is the effect of the earth turning from the Son
When My light breaks through evil, a new day has begun

John 3:19-21 – “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”
1 Peter 4:17-18 – “For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And, if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
John 8:12 – “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”
John 12:46 – “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.”

Unrest and Emptiness
Sin deceives and will lead you astray
Causing you to leave the path called, “The way”
That other trail is dark and you will get lost
Was disobedience worth it? Count the cost
Defilement happens when your sin is enjoyed
Dark spirits rejoice to see you destroyed
The pit that you fell in was planned all along
To capture the believing, whose faith is strong
Everything inside you will start to feel dead
The morning sun rising will fill you with dread
Another day of unrest and emptiness of soul
Will you ever feel satisfied or ever feel whole?
I oppose the proud but give grace to the humble
Sending My angels to help you when you stumble
Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you
I’ll save you from sin and your penalty undo
Send deceives, then defiles, then deadens

James 1:12-15 – “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
13 When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”
James 4:7-10 – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
James 1, 4
Honor Your Father
Long life is the portion of My faithful ones
“Honor your father” is the message to My sons
My promise is that it will go well with you
Before time began your heart I foreknew
This life will draw out what is buried deep
What you sow on earth is what you will here, reap
Things in your heart will be shown by talk and deed
Read and follow My Word if you want to succeed
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind
Delight yourself in Me and true treasure you’ll find
Wisdom and riches are for those who honor Me
Long life you will find and happy you will be

Deuteronomy 5:16 – “Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.”
Ephesians 6:1-4 – “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
Romans 12:1-2 – “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Matthew 15:1-20
Remain in Him
The vine sends its strength into the bud and then the fruit
It receives nourishment from sun and the vines root
This exchange of growth takes place where no one else can see
The fruit must stay attached until it finds its destiny
It is in the dreary days that the rain pours down
One might think their hopes and dreams would be lost and drown
Hang onto the vine with all the strength that you can raise
Rest in God’s Word and turn your doubts into His praise
Fruit takes time to ripen and develop a pleasing scent
It is in the tasting when perfection is evident
The fruit of the spirit grows in us the same way
What other see and taste will show our hearts display
It’s really just that simple stay connected to the vine
That person is transformed to reflect the divine
If you remain in Him, He will remain in you
Everything that God’s Word says will manifest as true

John 15:5-6 – “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”
Galatians 5:22-25 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”
John 15
Joyful Celebration
My heart is overflowing, with a message to my King
You are worthy of the nations and the praise they bring
You water the earth with rain, Your grace extends to all
You forgive us of our sins when on Your name we call
There is not a place on earth where You do not dwell
From the palace of a king to a convict in his cell
Patiently, You wait for us to turn and catch Your eye
You are always speaking and long for our reply
Receive this praise I offer to my heavenly King
The worship of a loving heart to You I now bring
Worthy, worthy, are You, Lord, of our adoration
All the earth agrees and claps in joyful celebration

Psalm 2:7-9 – “I will proclaim the LORD’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father. 8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.”
Isaiah 55:12-13 – “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the LORD’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.”

Spirits Are Lurking
The wind howls in the dark of the night
Spirits are lurking in the dim moonlight
They think the darkness hides their evil acts
Those who love to sin are the ones they attract
Like a predator waiting for their prey
Plotting to devour those who disobey
Lies and deceit are the main tools they use
Spirits are lurking at the wrong path you might choose
They’re like a lion dragging prey to their death
Despising the fact, you are filled with God’s breath
Enticing the lost with sin as their bait
Eternal torment will be their gruesome fate
The path of escape is to follow God’s ways
Seek His loving Presence for all of your days
If you search with all your heart, you will surely find
God sent His Son to redeem all of mankind

1 John 1:5-7 – “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
1 John 3:4-10 – “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.”
1 Peter 5:8-9 – “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”
Proverbs 4, 5
1 John 2:1-14
Moon Bride
Moon bride, do not hide, though filled with imperfection Your beauty comes not from your surface, but from His reflection Wounds from the past have left their mark forming craters deep Sometimes darkness hides your path as you seem to sleep Moon bride look past yourself, your beauty is your light Look to the Son and you will shine, even in darkest night Seek His presence with your face, mirror all His ways Then you will shine with glory bright, all your earthly days “Moon bride, do not hide, you are beautiful to Me My power resides inside of you to pull tides in the sea Be sure to turn your face to Me, follow where I go You are a witness, to the darkness, in the earth below” Debbie Furey December 16, 2019 Song of Solomon 6:10 (AMP) – “Who is this that looks down like the dawn, fair and beautiful as the full moon, clear and pure as the sun, as majestic as an army with banners?” 2 Corinthians 3:18 1 John 3:2 Song of Solomon 6:1-10 As I was waiting in God’s presence listening for His voice this morning, the word, moon bride, came into my thoughts. I knew right away what it meant. It was a teaching from Jonathan Cahn’s book, “The Book of Mysteries,” on page 169 called, “The Moon Bride.” He writes about the bride in the Song of Solomon being as beautiful as the moon. This is how the Lord sees us, the church, His bride. Moses is an example of this shining reflection happening to those who spend time in God’s Presence in Exodus 34:29-35.
Deep is the Mystery
Deep is the mystery, that You would live in me At the very same time, I in You can be This goes to prove the point; we are truly one That means right here and now, not just when life is done Guide my hands to reach out to help those in need Open my eyes to see the lost and show them where to feed Cause my ears to hear the cry of those who live in pain Give me love to share with those who watch me with disdain These days on earth, a testing ground, will I then believe? Or will I walk by sight alone, letting flesh deceive? Everything I do in life, will matter for all eternity Let me bring my fruits and treasures to Your throne with expectancy Debbie Furey September 19, 2019 John 15:4 – “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 14:19-20 – “Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” John 14 and 15 Galatians 5:16-26 Matthew 6:19-24 2 Corinthians 4 1 Timothy 6:17-21
