Great are Thy works, and Thy thoughts are so deep As Your Word goes forth, its promise I will keep You have made me glad by the works of Your hand Only by Your Word can I ever hope to stand The extent of Your mercies continues to unfold As tales of Your intervention are being told Your enemies shall perish and scatter as the wind Fools not understanding, even when disciplined Search my heart and lead me in all of Your ways That I might flourish till the end of my days Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Will bear much fruit with eternal, sweet reward Debbie Furey April 30, 2021 Psalm 92:12-15 – “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” Psalm 92

Knowing Him
What seemed gain to me, I now count as loss When I behold the image of the One upon the cross To be found in Him, through the precious blood He shed So I might attain the resurrection of the dead That I might know Him is Heaven’s greatest call The power of His rising, reverses Adam’s fall Nothing I have done, could earn me heaven’s favor My only righteousness is found in my dear Savior How could it be possible to own this greatest treasure? That we can have a part, of a God we cannot measure Being found in Him, and in His sufferings share Nothing that this world can offer, even can compare Debbie Furey April 29, 2021 Philippians 3:7-11(KJV) – “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” Psalm 16
Until Christ is Formed in Me
I am in the Potter’s hands until Christ is formed in me
It is a painful process, using much proficiency
With the skill of a surgeon, many cuts and strokes are made
Making room for many gems and colors to be inlaid
After the Potter’s work is done, He heats the furnace high
There the soft clay is transformed into a vessel hard and dry
Each work of art is for a purpose only He can know
Into each, a piece of His glory, He will then bestow
A vessel formed to show His glory is His main desire
For His purpose and His honor, purified by fire
I’ll put on grace and love, then add a cloak of humility
Dressed in His righteousness until, Christ is seen in me

Ephesians 4:11-13 – “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Romans 8:29 – “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.”
Romans 9:21-24 – “Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?
22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— 24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?
Romans 8:28-39
Romans 9:14-26
Procure Your Victory
God led them forty years in the desert as a test Then what was hidden in their hearts, began to manifest He disciplined and humbled them all along the way Teaching them His Word, so they would not go astray “Don’t forget me,” says the Lord, “When you come into the land Life is more than food and drink you must understand Every Word I gave you in your desert season Has eternal value and was given for a reason” “Your final destination is more than you could hope for This journey you have gone through has taught you how to conquer The final test is death to self as you follow Me That is the only way to procure your victory” Debbie Furey March 15, 2022 Deuteronomy 8:3 – “ He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.” Matthew 10:38–39 – “ Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” Deuteronomy 8 Luke 9:23–26
Listen With Obedience
I am always speaking out into the atmosphere In many ways, so mysterious, not always to your ear Sometimes through circumstance so strange, you sense that I am near Or through another’s voice you hear My message very clear Set your heart to follow all the way until the end Those who do this every day will prove to be My friend My ways are far above your ways, you can’t comprehend Listen with obedience and for My promises contend This time on earth a testing ground, for all to see and know A time to prove your love for Me, or will you be My foe? Eternal destinies are at stake for all who dwell below Will it be eternal bliss, or regret, torment, woe? Debbie Furey March 9, 2022 Psalm 25:8–12 – “Good and upright is the LORD; therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways. 9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. 10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. 11 For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. 12 Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.” Proverbs 8 Isaiah 55
A Jealous Eye
There is a regular eye and a jealous eye The green eye tries to hide because it can’t explain why Defiling the soul and darkening the mind Truth is cast aside as reason becomes blind A jealous spirit binds and takes captive of those Who wish ill on others to cause many woes Increased misery comes back on them instead As they are a led away with a feeling of much dread Repent and be grateful for all you’ve been given Because of the cross you can be set free and forgiven The eye of the Lord runs to and fro over the earth In His sight each person has immeasurable worth Debbie Furey February 27, 2022 1 Samuel 18:9 – “And from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David.” Proverbs 27:4 – “Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?” 1 Corinthians 3:3 – “You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?” 1 Samuel 18:5–16 Galatians 5:16–26 As I was reading first Samuel 18:9, it mentioned that Saul kept a jealous eye on David. I wondered to myself could there be jealousy showing out of one’s eyes? Then I thought back to different instances where I felt someone’s jealousy being displayed and it showed up in their eyes. It is said that the eyes are a window of the soul. Sometimes there are blinds on windows and you can’t always see in, but sometimes you can see things that are in people’s eyes when blinds are removed. You can see love, kindness, happiness in people’s eyes as well as bad things like hatred, deception, lust and yes, jealousy.
Bow Your Heart
Me:
Help me judge my own heart is my heartfelt cry
I find it hard to live for You and to my own self die
It is only by Your Spirit, I can live that way
As I seek Your Presence, I find it easy to obey
Lord:
Keep your heart fixed on Me, I’ll give you power to stand
My ways are far above your ways you must understand
The secret of a holy life, is to do My will
You’ll only come to know this when you’re with Me quiet, still
Bow your heart before Me in humility and fear
When you are obedient, wisdom’s voice you’ll clearly hear
Those who are led by My Spirit, truly are My son
I in you and you in Me, makes us wholly one

Romans 8:12–14 – “Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
Proverbs 9:10 – “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Romans 8
Life is full of choices. Will I live by the Spirit or will I live by my fleshy desires? We have to make a choice and must live with the consequences. It is a choice we have to make every day, to follow the Lord. When we fix our eyes upon Him it becomes much easier to hear His voice.

Me: Lord, You deserve a bride who is passionate about You One who is holy and possesses great virtue Getting ready for the new home she will soon occupy Preparing a gown that will enhance and beautify Lord: I am coming for a bride who is holy and pure One who overcomes the evil day and will endure She will be without sin dressed in pure white gown Her acts and beauty will bring her great renown She will rise with My glory like the bright morning star Bringing hope and life to the downcast near and far Out of great darkness her light will be seen In training, for reigning, as My new bride and queen To those who overcome and do My will to the end Are the ones who love Me and will be known as My friend They will be proved worthy to reign by My side Together, forever, is My promise to My bride Debbie Furey January 17, 2022 Revelation 2:26–29 – “To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— 27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery—just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star. 29 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Isaiah 60:1-2 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” Isaiah 60:1–5
God’s Unfailing Love
Lord: Every new day begins with a fresh start Choices to make when old ways you depart Bad patterns and habits to leave far behind Each new day begins with hope for mankind Me: Lord, great are Your mercies, they are new every day Because of Your love You have prepared a new way The portion You offer is new life in You Your faithfulness rains down with each morning’s dew The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him His grace and mercy fill my cup to the brim God’s unfailing love is new every day I’ll examine my thoughts and walk in His ways Debbie Furey January 7, 2022 Lamentations 3:22–24 – “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore, I will wait for him.” John 14:5-6 – “Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Lamentations 3:21–66
Your True Home
Me: Your ways, oh Lord, are so far above our ways Too wonderful, too high, with results that amaze You have given dominion to the sons of men Teaching us to reign and how to be Your friend Lord: You were made in My image and by My own hand Given a free will to choose and understand Everything that happens is for a reason Your time on earth is only a short season Seek out My Presence and learn how to love This will fit you for your true home above Your thoughts and intents are proved by fire Is your home this world, or am I your desire? Debbie Furey December 31, 2021 Mark 10:29–31 – “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” John 14:23-24 – “Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.” Hebrews 11:8-16 When you begin to live your life by faith in God and what He says in His Word, you start to see things differently. In light of eternity, we are only on this earth for a short time. There is a purpose in everything we do and everything that happens to us. When we see and understand that God uses everything for our good to those who love Him, we can live a victorious and purposeful life. Our true home is not this earth but the one we will dwell in throughout eternity. Therefore, we should set our affections on God and make our decisions based on this fact. Is what we are doing or planning for our glory or for God’s glory?
