A song of praise upon my lips arises from my heart Ascending like the smoke of incense it’s fragrance to impart I find my rest under Your shadow in the courts above You satisfy me in the morning with unfailing love Who is like the Most High God seated on His throne? The worship of creation’s host belongs to You alone The world awaits with expectation–redemption’s fulfilled plan Proving Your unfailing love before the world began “Because you love Me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue you” “I will answer when you call and prove My love is true If you make the Most High God your earthly dwelling place I’ll show you My unfailing love and My unfailing grace” Debbie Furey May 10, 2020 Psalm 90:14 – “Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.” Psalm 44:26 – “Rise up and help us; rescue us because of your unfailing love.” Psalm 91 Romans 8:18-25

The Calling is Enough
Do you hear Me when I call? Will your heart say yes? Your many reasons to decline are quite bottomless In your own strength, I agree, the task is far beyond you The calling is enough, I will help you see it through You would not need faith if you could do it in your power As you look to Me–your task will blossom, grow and flower You will need My help for each decision that you make To move forth on your own knowledge would be a big mistake It’s a way to keep you humble when you have to look to Me Don’t presume to know the way in self pride’s ability The task might seem impossible and incredibly tough I am there to guide you-the calling is enough Debbie Furey April 27 2020 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 – “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 – “Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him.” Judges 6 and 7 1 Corinthians 2
Your Presence
From the deep places below, to the stars in the sky We cannot escape Your Presence though there are many who try You were there when I was formed in the depths of the earth Present in the room from my first breath at birth I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made All my days are known to You and all my thoughts are weighed You know the way I will take–nothing is hidden from You Even the deep darkness cannot hide me from Your view How then would I live if I remembered this all the time? Would my goals change to capture rewards so sublime? I welcome Your tests sent to keep my heart true So, when I wake up in glory–Your likeness I’ll accrue Debbie Furey April 24, 2020 Psalm 17:15 (KJV) – “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.” 1 John 3:2-3 – “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.” Psalm 139
Jesus is His Name
When heaven’s glory touches earth in a space of time A portal opens from above our spirits then can climb Ascending to the secret place, we see from heaven’s view Sins curse is filtered out so we can see what’s right and true Who may ascend the hill of God and stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and heart and asks for God’s great grace Before the beginning of time this grace was given to us It is now revealed through Jesus, our hope most glorious Those who seek Your face, Oh God, You said would surely find You Open up you ancient doors-the King of Glory comes through Who is this King most glorious? Jesus is His Name One day every knee will bow before His power and great fame Debbie Furey April 18, 2020 Ephesians 2:6-7 – “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 1:9-10 – “He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done, but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” Colossians 3:1-17 Psalm 24
Rise Up
Rise up, rise up and take back the land Our enemies have hidden well, the things they have planned They thought all was covered, no one would find out Their takeover assured, they had no doubt The Lord looks down from heaven and laughs out loud Sounding like thunder under darkening cloud Their plans are like chariots are stuck in deep mud As God reigns down justice in a torrential flood The Son will come out after the storm’s might His glory descending to end the long night The time of great harvest is now at hand Rise up, rise up to take back the land Debbie Furey April 4, 2020 Judges 5:31 – “So may all your enemies perish, LORD! But may all who love you be like the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had peace forty years. Judges 4:14-15, 5:1-5, 19-21
Presumption is a Sin
Don’t let your sins and failures hold you back from Me Rather, just the opposite, into My mercy flee To all who are repentant, grace is waiting for you there Reach out and grab ahold as it descends in holy air Do not presume upon My mercy, you must come to Me Forfeit all your pride because you must come humbly Your attitude of entitlement is foreign to My thought The road to eternal life is with much danger fraught Presumption is a sin that has waylaid many a soul Seeking to impose its will and then it takes control You must die to self and then seek out My will Understand My Word so their values you’ll instill Tell me who can discern the error of their ways? You will if you follow My Word all your earthly days My decrees make wise the simple, much joy they will impart Know there is great reward in seeking out My heart Debbie Furey March 28, 2020 Psalm 19:9-13 – “The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. 10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. 11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. 12 But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. 13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.” Numbers 14:41-45 Psalm 19
Greater Works
Lord, You do not give up on humanity–like Your people do
Even the most hardened heart can be won to You
Those who are forgiven much-are grateful most of all
Compassion rules their hearts when they see others stumble, fall
Seeing through Your eyes, with love that searches out
We pray for them in faith to believe and not to doubt
Let Your mercy and Your grace be flowing through our eyes
Let it manifest to action by those who are wise
Lord we want to be Your voice calling them to You
Let our actions match our words to prove Your love is true
Lead us to do greater works, so they can see Your glory
Eternity will prove the worth of everyone’s love story

Daniel 12:2-3 – “Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.”
John 14:12-14 – “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
Mark 2:15-17
Luke 6:32-38
Luke 18:9-14
Rejoice in the Harvest
Lord, is there a song You’d like me to sing? Heartfelt joyous praises to You I will bring My heart seems like a basket that is heaped up full Thanksgiving and praises You’ve laid upon my soul You refresh and give life just like the spring rain Dying to self is not loss, but works toward my gain I’ll bring in Your harvest that waits in yonder field Your Spirit I will follow and to Your ways I will yield Awake, oh my soul, to hear the Lord’s call Inviting us to the feast in His Great Banquet Hall The storms will be over as night turns to day We’ll rejoice in the harvest put on full display Debbie Furey March 23, 2020 John 4:34-38 – “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” Psalm 65 Matthew 13:37-43
Call for the Dawn
When you turn away from God, you create your own night In the shadow of your turning, you end up blocking His Light Deep darkness of soul will then enter your heart Causing the Presence of the Lord to quietly depart Awake oh dear soul, bring the night to an end Morning star’s light calls your heart to ascend It appears in the darkness to show you the way Announcing the path to never-ending day Thick darkness is over the people–it covers the whole land They are lost and searching for what they don’t understand Proclaim freedom for the prisoners, held captive by their sin The year of the Lord’s favor is about to begin The oil of gladness poured out on all who mourn A garment of praise to cover the despairing, forlorn Proclaim freedom from darkness, bring the night to an end Awake oh dear soul, call for the dawn to ascend Debbie Furey March 13, 2020 Psalm 57:8 – “Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.” Isaiah 60:1-3 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. 2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” 2 Peter 1:19 – “We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” Hebrews 10:26-39 Isaiah 61, 58:8-9 Acts 26:15-18 Psalm 108:2, 112:4
God’s Presence in Glory
The last day of my life will be the best day for me I will meet my Savior waiting, as I step into eternity Shedding earthly bondage, I’ll be clothed in robe of white Earth’s dark shadows fading in the splendor of His light I’ll arrive at that magnificent city; its imposing gate opening wide Loved ones gone on before will be waiting for me inside That is where I’ll see Jesus, and know as I am fully known Also, I’ll meet my Father, seated on His glorious throne I’ll be shown my eternal home, prepared just for me Filled with treasures won by life’s hard-fought victories Eternal rest and bliss will accompany me everywhere Matchless will be His Presence as I dwell with Him there Debbie Furey February 29, 2020 1 Corinthians 13:12 – “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NKJV) – “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:6-14 Philippians 1:21-24 On that day, my quest will be over. The destination more glorious than I could have ever hoped for. New words will have to be invented to describe what I am seeing. Death will be swallowed up in victory. (1 Corinthians 15:54)
