Me:
I want to be the bride whose heart is ablaze
With fires of devotion igniting deepest praise
Nothing distracts her attention to faithfully prepare
Gathering oil for her lamp from everywhere

There are many options and fun things to do
She turns away from those, her groom’s desires to pursue
Following the Holy Spirit as He leads the way
Centering her attention on that special day

Lord:
The Holy Spirit provides the oil for those with burning hearts
When you follow closely, an anointing He imparts
Distributing the gifts sent from the Father’s hand
So, in the day of evil, you will be able to stand

I am looking for those whose hearts are ablaze
You have stolen My heart, held captive by your gaze
Beautiful you are, there is no flaw in you
Come away with Me to tread the mountain’s dew
